Essential for Power Generation Forecasting and Multi-Faceted Power Generation Performance Evaluation based on IEC61853 for incident angle, irradiance and module temperature
The output of PV module fluctuates depending on environmental temperature, irradiance, incident angle of light. It is essential to confirm the relationship between temperature, irradiance, incident angle and the amount of power generated by the PV module in order to correctly predict the integrated power generation during long-term operation. The international standard to evaluate this is IEC61853. Chemitox is now measuring and evaluating temperature, irradiance and incident angle based on IEC 61853-1 and -2.
The IEC 61853-3 is scheduled to be issued in September 2018, which will define a method to calculate "generation capacity rating" based on the results of measurements based on these two standards.
