EU Fire test and Certification of Building materials
A classification system in the EU called "Euroclass" was introduced to unify the fire safety performance grade of building materials. The European classification standard EN 13501-1 was established in 2007 to rank materials in seven classifications from Class A1 to Class F.
In the EU, while some of the national standards
remain, there are many cases where the Euroclass
and CE mark are required to prove compliance with
the standard based on EU regulations.
We are an official agent under contract with Exova
Warringtonfire Ltd., in the UK, and as such we can
provide total support from testing and creating
reports to acquire Euroclass through to obtaining
CE mark certification.
Other than fire safety, we support numerous other
tests that may be required for obtaining CE mark.
We have a consulting service concerning building
material testing standards for all countries in the
EU (BS 476, DIN 4102 etc.), Northern America (ASTM),
and China (GB 8624).
