The output of PV module fluctuates depending on environmental temperature, irradiance, and light incident angle. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the relationship between these factors and the power generation amount of the PV module, in order to predict the integrated generation in long-term operation. IEC61853 is the international standard for this evaluation. Chemitox can measure the temperature, irradiance, and incident angle in accordance with IEC61853-1 and -2. In addition, “generation capacity rating” can be calculated from the results of these two standards, with the method defined by IEC61853-3.
