Mechanical Property Tests

Tensile Strength (TS) and Flexural Strength (FS) are the tests to evaluate static mechanical property characteristics. On the other hand, Tensile Impact (TI), Izod Impact (II), and Charpy Impact (CI) are the tests to evaluate dynamic mechanical property. There is also shear strength test which evaluates the strength of adhesive.

Electrical Property Tests

Electrical property of polymeric materials can be evaluated by Dielectric Breakdown Test (DS), Comparative Tracking Index test (CTI), Arc Resistance Test (D495), Inclined-Plane Tracking Test (IPT), High Voltage Arc Tracking Rate Test (HVTR), and Volume Resistivity/Surface Resistivity (VR/SR) Test.

Other than mechanical/electrical property tests, tests on short term thermal property as well as ignition resistance are also very important for the use of a product.

Sample for Other Property Test

Sample molding for various tests are available at our subsidiary company, Keihin Chemitox, Inc., if the material is thermoplastic resin. They also conduct polishing work for thickness adjustment. Therefore, we can evaluate materials consistently from sample molding to testing. Moreover, we have a 3D measuring machine and 3D scanners that enable us to conduct shape measurement of complex three-dimensional structures.
