There has been a growing demand for miniaturization, high integration, and weight reduce in electrical and electronic equipment, vehicles, and aircraft. Hence the high level flame resistance is now required for Polymeric Materials that are used for exterior items and parts of printed wiring boards, as well as adhesives. Our over 40 years experience in flammability testing can support research, development, and quality control of flame resistant materials according to various standards, including UL94, and FMVSS 302 Flammability Test for Motor Vehicle Interiors.

Our test data is accepted by UL. We can provide test results in a timely manner.

○ FMVSS 302 Flammability Test for Motor Vehicle Interiors

FMVSS 302 Flammability Test for Motor Vehicle Interiors evaluates the burn resistance of occupant compartments in motor vehicles, such as passenger cars, multipurpose passenger vehicles, trucks, and buses. In order to respond to the growing needs to FMVSS 302 Flammability Test, we organized a system that enables us to conduct this evaluation in a speedy manner. We prepared three sets of sample holders for FMVSS 302 tests so that we can handle more samples and submit test data in shorter delivery time.

○ Flammability test of electric wires, cables, insulating tapes (VW-1 Flammability Test)

Many essential components of electrical appliances such as electric wires, cable coverings, and insulating tapes are made of polymeric materials. Such polymeric materials are required to pass the VW-1 flammability test. Chemitox has the latest large fume hood for flammability testing that enables us to conduct the VW-1 test in an efficient and safe test environment.

○ Preliminary Test for Research and Development

You can conduct preliminary tests to evaluate your product which is under development. We can modify the sample quantity and test procedure as required even if they are not necessarily based on the actual standard.
