other evaluation and testing
The RoHS Directive was enforced on July 1, 2006 in Europe, placing significant restrictions on certain toxic chemical substances that are included in electronics. Under this directive, material/component suppliers must provide assurance that lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB or PBDE is not included in all new electronics imported into the EU after July 1, 2006. At Chemitox, we perform RoHS analysis in two stages: an initial basic analysis which can be done with much lower costs; Second, we perform a detailed analysis for those identified as requring further analysis in the initial stage. This allows for an efficient and cost-effective testing for the RoHS Directive. Additionally, we provide news alerts for up-to-date information on EU Environmental Regulations to support your green procurement strategy.
